Once bound to hemoglobin, oxygen-rich blood is pumped by the heart to every tissue and organ in our body, including the brain. Oxygen is pivotal in providing the energy necessary for physical, mental, and emotional well-being. It fuels cellular metabolism, enabling the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the molecule that serves as the energy currency for all cells.
